Marcyline is the musical project of Carmel, NY’s Chris Paraggio. His music explores tones of the eclectic and ethereal, while being guided by his sweet, somber vocal melodies. His music marks a digital continuation of the American Transcendentalist Movement, with an obvious yearning to return to nature. The desire to escape. The desire to explore. It’s all there.

The project began while Chris attended NYU as an undergrad, and began experimenting musically with several of his peers. When covid broke out in 2020, Chris returned to his parents home in Carmel, NY, and began work on what would become his first LP, Treegiver. Chris often cites exploring the quiet, dark woods of Carmel as his biggest inspiration for writing this veritably haunting, and charming record.
